Maintaining good health body is not that easy and not difficult also. One must need to always stay healthy because a unhealthy body body's are easily attack by diseases. Here we will discuss about some activities we have to avoid to stay healthy and live long.


1. WATER BETWEEN MEALS



Most people have water along with their meals and their main theory is washing down the food while eating. People have no idea how wrong this practices is and how difficult this can be for their digestion. Our stomach have a knack of knowing when you eat and start releasing digestive juice immediately. If you start drinking water at the same time, what you are actually doing is diluting the digestive juice been released to digest your food, thereby hindering them from breaking down food. Drinking water with meals can also cause a surge in your insulin level, almost like the way high glycemic food will affect you.

According to research, sipping a little water during meals isn't a cause for concern but drinking a glass or two may interfere with digestion. It best to drink fluids before and two hours after meals as this helps in absorption of nutrients.




2. SLEEPING HOUR'S


Sleeping is as important as eating or breathing is to our lives. The time of night when you sleep makes a significant difference in terms of the structure and quality of your sleep. Not sleeping well is the reason for so many problems like stress, depression and hypertension. Research shows that our brains needs approximately eight(8) hours to rest and consolidate learning of new information to avoid mental problem. Most people are found of sleeping early around 6p.m. to 8p.m. which is very wrong.

Dr.Oti, a psychologist said "People who are more intelligent tends to go to bed later and get up later. People who regularly sleep for longer than 10 hours have greater risk of heart diseases, stroke, type 2 diabetes and depression. If one wants to synchronise their body to the rhythm of nature, then the best time to sleep should be 10p.m. and wake up time 6a.m.




3. NOT HAVING ENOUGH EXERCISE.




Recently, World Health Organization (W.H.O) study showed that more than 1 in 4 people worldwide I physically inactive, putting them at greater risk for diseases. Regular exercise can prevent and reverse age-related decrease in muscle mass and strength, improve balance, flexibility and endurance, and decrease the risk of fall in the elderly.

Regular exercise can prevent coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, obesity and high blood pressure. 10-15minutes of jump roping can burn over 200 calories. This makes jump roping one of the best and efficient form of cardio. Thirty minutes of modest exercise at least 3 to 5 days a week is recommended, but the greatest health benefit comes from exercising most days of the week. Always stay health.
